    Hey all
    i am new to this stuff and i wanted to know how can i burn few vcd/svcd files on a dvd disk with nero or any other software - i will be happy if someone will help me- i onverted allready the films to svcd but i can't manage to put all on 1 dvd.
    will thanks for any advice

    you can only burn vcd and svcd on cd. convert to dvd if you want dvd.

  3. Here's what I do;

    1. convert the .dat files into mpeg1 files by using TMPGEnc or VCDGear.

    2. if needed cut the gap (blank space) at the end of disc 1 and at the beginning of disc 2 for joining the two files.

    2a. join the two mpg files of a movie (VCD disc A and disc B) into one whole movie by using TMPGEnc.

    3. Using Ulead DVD moviefactory, create a dvd with menu using the mpeg1 files.

    * depending on the size of an mpeg movie, sometimes I can fit 4 movies into one dvd disc.

    Joining can cause sync problems (I know, you've never had that problem...yet.). For best results let the authoring program "join" the files by making them play in sequence.
