Hello all; I am a complete newbie to recording DVD's eg dont know nothing about it. I just had a DVD burner installed on my computer the program is Nero Express 6. I have also bought a DVD recorder by Liteon model LVW-1105 with the following feature supports DVD Dual(?) . To further confuse myself I bought Verbatim DVD-R Disc's 8x 4.7gb @ 120 mins.
Now I tried to understand the manuals for both the burner and the Recorder and to say I confused is an understatement! Now some questions please in the Recorder manual, regarding playback there is a statement that my machine only plays discs with the (1 region code) what the heck does that mean?
Now i've downloaded some Adult stuff and wish to burn it on a DVD from a CD-R disc but the Nero burner wont allow that. I have to use my computer to watch the darn things, can I use my Recorder one to watch the clips and two can I copy the CD-R to DVD-R? Any help would be greatly appreciated and please make it very simple. RobinMacL

Hiya Robin, you live in Canada so you are in Region 1 (search google for region free firmware). I'm assuming your adult stuff is VCD, there's a sticky on this website that will guide you through the process, i'm feeling kind
