I haven't used a DR-M100S but the Verbatim 16X DVD-R's worked just fine on the DR-MV5S which supposedly is the the combo version of the M100.

is it bad to use higher speed dvd's such as 16x on standalone dvd recorders, or did i read that wrong somewhere?
would i get better burns on a 4x ddvd -
In the past 5 weeks, I've used maybe 75 MCC 16x DVD-R (Verbatim) and had no trouble. Works beautifully.
I usually use RW discs, but they were all tied up with another project.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
