I was wondering if there was a strat game that involves politics and negotiation for the PC. Like a global politics game or something. Im not talking something like sim city or that type that you have to build your city or country from the ground up, but one that puts you in the middle of some sort of situation that you have to control from there or something.
I don't know if I'm being too vague or not, but I figure those who pc game MIGHT know a decent enough game to play. I don't want to do too much of the city or country micro managing I guess. I want to deal in some sort of politics or something.
Thanks if you can help, thanks if you can't!

Depends on how much exact control you want.
Maybe check into Master of Orion 3? I hated it BECAUSE it was designed to drive you crazy if you tried to Micromanage but I know a lot of people like it. -
There was that ROME game awhile back. Maybe a year old?
But I don't know of any "current" world politics game. The game designers would probably kill each other buy the time it was released with real heated debates and they'd lose track of the game itself
But yeah there are some of the old world type strategy games.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -

Thanks.
EDIT: I guess I shoud clarify that the political spectrum need not involve modern or even a real political struggle. It can be a purely fictitious world for all I care. I just want something where I would play a president or head of state or ambassador that doesn't necessarily micromanage his realm but micromanages the decisions that effect his country from the outside I guess. Or even internal political struggles, just not building the next best highway and the next skyscraper.Boy do I love my avatar!
