    I am looking for a new dvd authoring software around $200. I have been looking at ulead dvd workshop express. I also am looking at dvdlab pro. I would pick encore, but it is out of my price range. I currently use tmpgenc dvd author, but want something with more abilities.
    What can you tell me about ulead and it's built in encoder?

    I would never use a built-in encoder from anybody for anything. The Ulead one works well enough on menus, but I'd never do all my video that way. Encode in advance.
