    Hi,I have a quick question.
    I live in PAL region but I have a couple of MiniDV tapes from overseas while living in the US.
    It's impossible to find someone or rent NTSC DV camcorder in my country.Is there any cheap way to play NTSC tapes to PC without buying NTSC camcorder??

    Probably not,right?

    You can probably find a video or photo store that will want to do it for you for a large amount of money.
    OR do an advanced search on Ebay for the Czech Republic...you may find a MiniDV camcorder cheap from someone who just did the same exact thing you want to do...

    I have a samsung cam corder that does pal or ntsc. Do a quick google on the models you have access to (borrow or rent) and see if which one will do both...
    Or call a few shops and see what they charge.....it's usally not as bad as you think.
    You could mail stuff back to states and have someone over here do it and send back.

    Look for "video duplication" or "video transfer' services. There will be many in larger cities.
