Have you tried reinstalling SVCD2DVD?
SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

Thanks Chrissyboy for the reply, I will try that latter and let you know if I still have problems.

Yep tried that, re-installed BOTH the SVCD2DVD and NERO and still comes up with an "UNSPECIFIED BURNER ERROR", just after writing the Lead-In. I have tried it in 3 seperate burners in my PC and with different DVD's as well. Never had any problems with NERO 6, so may go back to it.
Oh well never mind I can burn them using NERO as normal. Thanks for the help. -
I have not updated to Nero7 myself so i can't say what the issue is. Has anyone else used Nero7 sucessfully with S2D/Neroburner?
Perfik: is the issue with the Neroburner in S2D or the standalone NeroBurner?SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

My guess is that Nero re-wrote some of the core function code, so NeroBurn may need to be updated to it at some point. Nero 7 looks too much like Roxio
these days, I'm sticking w/ 6 for now... :P :P -
Hi ChrissyBoy, it seems that if I use Neroburner as my default burner and choose to BURN the DVD and not just make the folders, it works fine. If I choose to just author the item and just make the folders so that I can burn it latter, this is when the problem crops up. The folders are created with NO problem and it would seem that it is the standalone version of Neroburner that is the problem.
Cheers

I wonder why you would get "unspecified burner error" when not even using a burner>????

Hi CBC, of course I am BURNING, just read the post again. It happens WHEN I am burning using the standalone Neroburner and not from s2d.

Apparently I misunderstood when you said
" If I choose to just author the item and just make the folders so that I can burn it latter, this is when the problem crops up. The folders are created with NO problem and it would seem that it is the standalone version of Neroburner that is the problem."
Sorry. -
It would appear that if NEROBURNER is used, well that is if I use it, then after use it does not close but stays active and resident in memory. So if I then start another session it causes a problem. If I use CTR/ALT/DELETE to bring up the box and manually CLOSE Neroburner then once again it works fine. Should this happen or should Neroburner exit properly after each use, that is of course if you close it when finished.

The more recent version of NeroCom.dll introduced this issue. I have managed to resolve it in v2 of NeroBurner which is included (in standalone form), in SVCD2DVD v2.1

Thanks ChrissyBoy, I am using V2.1 but still using the V1 of Neroburner. I will have a look for the new V2 of Neroburner latter. BTW, I must tell you how much I like and use your program. It saves me headaches galore, which is what I got before I got SVCD2DVD. Keep up the GREAT work and once again THANKS
:P

No problem. If you start NB 2 (in the SVCD2DVD folder) you may have to toggle the "shell extension" checkbox to make NB 2 work with the right click....
