I cannot succeed in producing single mpeg(1) file with audio for play back on a computer:
i've used movies with the following flavors:
quicktime-animation compression
DV versions
AVI xvid compression
mov with xvid compression
the movie size varys (640 x 480, 1024x768)....15fps
the export i've tried is MPEG1 (both variations) MPEG2, i do get two files produced: audio and video, none of which actually play.
i'm running it on a Macbookpro (intel), 1.5GB RAM
ffmpegX v0.0.9x r2
Results 1 to 2 of 2

For MPEG-1, start with a VCD preset, then optionally change the parameters that you want different. For MPEG-2, start with a DVD preset, then optionally change the parameters that you want different. This method sets all parameters to a legal default (e.g. mp2 audio for MPEG-1).
Uncheck the Author checkbox in Options to get just the MPEG file.
Avoid spaces (and other special characters) in filenames and folder names to ensure the muxer works correctly.
