Anyone know how I can use by Sony DCR-TRV120 cam and firewire card as a web cam in programs like netmeeting or cuseeme and stuff like that.

netmeeting can only be used on the smallest picture size b/c the data rate is too high to be handled otherwise. you should look into windows media encoder 7 (microsoft) and teveo suite (teveo). the first is a bandwidth hog but can get 30fps, the latter is more web-cam-like -- big picture, low fps, lower bandwidth.

The other problem is that to use the firewire ports in this way you're webcam software will need to work with WDM drivers instead of the (currently) more common VFW format.
As far as I am aware, Netmeeting doesn't use WDM drivers so wont work. I may be wrong as I haven't tried the very latest version though.
