    I live in the US and I have a DVD player in my computer and I was wondering if it is possible to play PAL DVDs, VCDs, and SVCDs on my computer? If not, I have no idea who made my DVD player and what model it is, so how do I find out?

    I take it you mean that you have a DVD-ROM drive on your PC.

    You can play PAL VCDs and SVCDs with no problems. There is no NTSC/PAL issues on the PC.

    As for DVDs, you may have a problem with different region DVDs on your DVD-ROM drive.
