My friend was filming his nephew's baptism over the weekend and he doesn't really know what he's doing with a video camera and the video footage came out all crooked and crap, are there any video editing programs available that can turn the video so its all straight looking so you don't have to turn your head to the side to view it?

You would have to tell us what kind of video (format) you are talking about first.
VirtualDub can do it with AVI type video. Use 'flip horizontally' or 'flip vertically' filters. If you have angles in between, then it gets more complicated and may require a higher end editor. You will likely lose some of the edges and if the angle changes, you may have to 'slice and dice' it up to work on each part individually. -
There is a commercial program that work like anti-shake in software. I saw it on the lastest copy of PC magazine.
