Hey guys
I know a few guys who have DVD players hooked up directly to a LCD computer monitor in their cars, and i was wondering, if those were playing interlaced material, would the interlace lines appear? My guess is that they would appear because to my understanding PC monitor are strictly progressive.
Please let me know what you all think.

All LCD monitors and TVs are progressive, however if they have the ability to recieve video input from playback devices, they will be able to de-interlace. How well depends on the video engine driving the screen, and in the case of many computer monitors, it won't do it very well. LCD TVs do a much better job, but even then, you get what you pay for.
