Hi there everyone! I have done some capturing of VHS and 8mm camcorder tapes and put them dvd for a few people. Yesterday I had a friend ask me if I could transfer his 8mm home movies, mostly of his recently deceased mother, to dvd for him. Yes I am talking about the old reel movies that you require a projector, a screen, a dark room, and some popcorn to watch. Aside from using a digital camcorder or other means similar, is there a method where can do a direct capture to the computer for processing. I am lost here so any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
