I have had flickering on some of the iso DVDs I have burned, it was suggested that my DVD player ( a Sanyo DWM-400) does not play PAL, or rather recieves PAL, but will not put it out as NTSC. Is there a DVD player that will do so, name? model? Thank you.

Where the hell are you getting ISO DVDs in PAL format if you live in the United States?

Not the cheapest but the cheapest that actually works well would be a Pioneer DV-383 which is $109 at 220-Electronics

Probably the best you can buy would be the OPPO DIGITAL OPDV971H which is $200 direct from the OPPO DIGITAL website.

Both are region free and do excellent PAL to NTSC conversion. Both can also do DivX and XviD fairly well.

I second the Oppo, and it is currently $186 at Amazon with free shipping.

Thank you so much. I use Giganews with newzbin.com and NOMP (NZB-O-Matic). World wide news group, has PAL and NTSC.
