...might be a good adjunct to material here, especially for newbies. He even has a video for the dvd-backup section.

...could be a slow server, I'm not sure he's expecting big play for his work, maybe needs better host if it becomes popular.
...could be the fact that it is encoded in MPEG4, H.264 codec.
...it is free and worth every penny.
There is also a "feed" page that contains the original videos which might download and play more quickly.
Its too bad he leaves no contact information on his site, but, that said...
