I am in the process of capturing to burn a project to dual layer DVD.
I have never done dual layer before and in previous works have never noticed it but can you select where the layer change occurs on your DVD??
I assume maybe you cant because I have seen commercial DVD's where the layer change happens in mid sentence or in a totally dumb position. But on other ones I dont even notice it or it happens in a black fade transition.
Is that just slack work on some companies part or do layer changes happen at the same point on each disc.
I just want to try and get a heads up so I can adjust my video to avoid such a point if it exists as I dont want it to happen in mid sentence or at a crucial point.
I can use either encore DVD 1.5 or DVD architect 2.0.
Thankyou

There's a tutorial here on how to burn dual-layer discs with proper layer breaks. It uses pgcEdit, ImgTool Classic and DVD Decrypter. Check the How To articles here.
