I have recorded on my Mac (Tiger) using iRecord .2.7c. The recording records a ts or mpeg 2 transport stream fine. I am able to play it with VLC and even convert it to mpeg 4 and make a DVD.
However, when I try to use ffmpegx to convert the file to dv I get a resulting 0k file. Also under the source there is audio listed for the ts file but where it says video it says, 'no video'.
How can I create a converted file of normal size and why does it say 'no video' in ffmpegx for the ts stream? Will there be no video on ouput?
Just as an aside, I am not able to view the file with Quicktime 7 with the mpeg 2 codec nor mpeg streamclip. However, there is audio.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
