You can, but it won't give you subtitles. DVDLab (and Pro) can add in subtitles.

Look up "Authoring (DVD)" in the "Tools" section, and read up on authoring in the guides and forums.

  3. oh thanx.. But why doesn't TDA provide subtitle support??
I mean , like, subs are an integral part of a DVD ain't it?
There's no sense in a DVD w/o subs!

  4. man.. Now I've converted the MPG to DVD using DVD lab..
Now there's a folder in K:\dvd like this..

Now.. the question is.. How'd I burn this??
I don't think I'll drag them as is in NERO using 'DVD-Video Disc' option..
I've converted it to an image file using IMGtools..
SO I burn this image using nero ??

I wouldnt say subtitles were an integral part of dvd's. I hardly ever put any on my dvd's. It is all a matter of what you are creating/copying.

I can't see your posted image, but if the folder contains the vob files, then you just open Nero in Video mode and drag them into the video_ts folder. Since you took the time to create an image, then yes, just burn the image with Nero.

  6. krispy kritter, i wouldnt be so sure on that........a lot of anime and foreign films REQUIRE subtitles otherwise they are rendered useless....i can see the picture though, just open nero, go to new dvd, and drag over both the folders...you can delete the bmp files though, as those are temperary files that were used to create your menus and such.....

@ CrAzYG33K: Burn the two VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders as a data DVD with Nero, or any other burning software and you're good to go.
