Hi all
I have been looking for a dvd-player which will play WMV9 avi files..
Have searched on videohelp, and the Buffalo was one of the models which popped up...
So does any of you out there have tried this player and can tell if it's any good...or maybe that I should hold on to my money...
Basically Iam going to stream WMV9 avi files from my mac/pc...
Does the player do smooth or not..
Hope you can help

First, wmv9 and avi are two different types of files.
There is another post or two in this forum about this player and/or the avel linkplayer. Both seem to be decent at what they do. They both connect to shared folders and play the files, you dont actually need to stream the files.Google is your Friend -

JVC and I-O Data have released a model that seems very interesting...
I-O Data SRDVD-100U, sadly I can't find it released in europe. -
And yep it's a avi in 1080p...But haven't check it yet
Mac doesn't support the format...damn.. -
