    Hi to everybody, my question is there any dvd recorder which can record DVD in widescreen format on DVD R not just DVD Ram ?
    I like to use widescreen format on my DV camcorder, but like to archive video to DVD later on.

    How wide screen format is different from normal? In PAL or NTSC number of lines are predefined. I just record as is and when playing DVD set TV to 16:9 aspect ratio. It work for me.
