If you own only one of the Pro Apps, you can now upgrade to the whole Final Cut Studio for only $199.

From this point forward buying the full studio ($1299) will be the only way to get any of the apps.
It's a good deal. I own FCP and have wanted to get DVDSP, so this deal not only saves me its cost, but includes Soundtrack Pro & Motion. Plus Steve Jobs will come to your house and install it!

I second that.
This is a great deal for those who
at least want to get their Studio stuff
up to par for a new Mac in the future,
as Universal will be the way to go!!"Everyone has to learn, so that they can one day teach."

When I'm not here, Where can I be found?

Use the 4.5 upgrade. If you download the order form and read the small print at the bottom (Terms and Conditions) it says that version is elegible.

Thanks for posting this.
Previous versions weren't available at an upgrade price from the academic version I have. So I'm glad that Apple's is even given Academic users the ability upgrade at a reasonable price.
