Has anyone had any problems with DVD's locking up during playback when using DVD2oneX2 version 2.0.2 built in burning engine? My experience has been it is better to create a file set then burn with Toast 7, but it is easier to let DVD2oneX2 do both.

First, could you elaborate more on your particular
mac's specs? i selected your "computer Details"
profile, but it is rather vague....Compare it to mine.
What version of Tiger ar you using?
Is your DVD Writer internal or external?
You say you are running a G4 1.33, but
what MODEL of mac are you on ( an ibook? an eMac?)

these things are IMPORTANT if you want us to help
track down what could be the cause...it could be FW/Hardware
related, or it could be OS, or both.
But without more info, it's hard to point you in the right
    direction....

Thanks for responding, I'm using a 12" ibook with a 1.33 G4 processor running Tiger 10.4.4.It has the standard 40GB HD and 512mb of RAM. My DVD writer is an external USB2 Lacie (NEC 3540A) with firmware version 1.03. Hopefully this is enough information. Thanks.

    your welcome.
Since you can burn fine in Toast, and not DVD2onex via
the same burner, we can rule out:

    USB2.0 issues
    Media ( to some extent)

DVDTOX v.2 has a nasty habit of not working
    well/perfectly with some burners
due to it being fickle on MMC3 standards.
    [ I blame evdberg. ]
Toast, however is not that picky, more so on media type,
    less on driver compliancy.

You could ask directly here at DVD2ONEX's website
if they have tested with your model
of DVD Burner, but I highly doubt it.

You may have to chuck it up to just a bug in DVD2ONEX
v.2. I know there are a lot of them, so what's one more..?
