    I see the 50pk of HP single layer DVD+/-R disks are $14.95 at Staples.They are made in Tiawan.Are these any good?

    They're CMC media, whether 8x or 16x. How well they work will often depend on the drive. CMC MAG E01 (8x DVD+R) works just fine on most of my drives.

    Office Max has Verbatims this week, 50/ $14.99. Good media, both formats in fair quantity at the store I was in this morning.
