I was given a new program to try recently called " DivX to DVD converter ". I had no problem using this program but the end result is not good. I encoded an avi file & it produces a VOB file. Before I burned the VOB file to disc I tested the file. There is NO audio.
Can someone tell me where I have gone wrong please ?
Thanks,

I seriously reccomend going to the guides section, there are many guides for divx to DVD, using a variety of tools from freeware to expensive commercial programs. Do some reading and try a few things out but as a general rule, avaoid the 'all in one wonder' programs. I'll guess that DivxToDVD converted your audio to 2 ch AC3 and you haven't got an AC3 codec on your computer. Install AC3Filter, or play the VIDEO_TS folder "properly" in software such as PowerDVD.
DivxToDVD is actually IMHO one of the better apps for this task as far as all-in-ones go. Stay tuned for ConvertXToDVDIf in doubt, Google it.
