I'm new to "Vegas 6 Movie Studio+DVD Platinum" and only recently installed it.
The installation process completed but now I get 2 errors every time I start the program. I click OK and the startup appears to complete.
(Note: I've been concentrating on the tutorials and have not yet tried to create a project.)

    Starting Vegas gives these errors:
1)""RUNDLL "error loading C:\PROGRA~1..... The specified module could not be found"
2)"An error occured starting ..... The reason for the error could not be determined"
I queried the errors on the Sony Support KB and was pleased to see specific fixes to them. (Answer IDs 251 and 264.)

But - now to my questions:
The fix to error 1 involves changing the registry and then reinstalling Vegas. I am reluctant to reinstall if the program if Vegas will work well inspite of the error/s.
    - Do I really need to reinstall?
    - What if I don't reinstall?
    - Am I liable to encounter further problems by reinstalling?

The fix to error 2 involves starting Terminal Services (TS).
    - What is the impact if I don't start TS? (Given that Vegas does start)

I believe in "If it ain't broken - don't try to fix it". Is my Vegas+DVD Platinum installation really broken?

I raised this query on the Sony Vegas forum - but got no response.

    Thanks for your help.
