    i know it says 8.5 gb on it, but is it less than that? like the single layer dvd where it says 4.7gb but it is actually 4.3gb in the computer?

    Usually you can go 4.35-4.37 for SL. The highest I've used for DL has been 8.3, though it could possibly be more (as it says in Imgburn).

    I use Prassi ONES. If you want a free option, either imgtools classic or folder2ISO, then ImgBurn.
