    ive got a panasonic dvd recorder and ive recorded my holiday tapes on to dvd but i want to edit them and add menus.can some 1 please advice.thanks andy

    Rip them to your HDD with DVD Decrypter and edit with VideoRedo or Womble Mpeg VCR. There are other editors, but they don't really like working with mpeg, so you would have to convert to another format, edit, then encode back. Mpeg VCR and VideRedo are built specifically to edit mpeg, which will result in less re-encoding of your video, and consequently, better quality.
