I have an HP 533mhz celeron with 512mb mem. The ATI All in Wonder 128 Pro will only capture AVI at 320x240 without dropping frames. I need to capture at 512x384 at least. The captured AVI/Huffyuv file using virtual dub looks like a slide show with distorted audio.
I've thought about upgrading to the latest ATI card, but have gotten different opinions on what MY results would be. I sure would appreciate any input anybody might have for me concerning capturing at higher res without dropped frames.
(I hope it's not my computer/CPU)
Thanks, Gary

Sounds like you need a faster processor/mobo.
My AMD 300 MHz could capture faster than my Celeron 500... neither of which could capture at anything more than 352x240.
