    Hi,
Just bought a dvd player Kosch DV-X721.
    I want to test it.
So I download the new test CD v2. But I am confused. The instruction said it is a test CD should I write it into a CD?
If it is a CD how can I test my DVD function?
Is DivX/XviD a kind of DVD format? so how to I test it using CD
Should I write it into a DVD disk?
    I am new, please help

Since it appears to play Divx, and if the test disc is Divx format, you can put it on a CD or a DVD. Divx is recorded to disc as a computer data file. It doesn't need the structure of a DVD video or a VCD or SVCD. Just like playing a video clip on the computer. I would use a CD if the file is small enough. If it plays properly, I imagine that's the Divx format that the player likes.
