I just downloaded a movie, nothing unparticular, off of Morpheus, and i opened the file. It just wouldnt work!! NO AUDIO OR VIDEO but it played???
The files info says:
352 x 144, 1 Bits, 47018 Frames, 9.000 Frames/Sec, 55 KB/Sec, Uncompressed and it is 87 min and 4.222sec.
I tried playing the file on "Project Mayo-The playa", and windows media player. I also have a kristal DivX codec on my computer (which probably doesn't have anything to do with it). Can someone help me out.???

Have a look in the TOOLS section on the left hand side and scroll down to codecs.
NIMO should do the trick if it is just a codec problem.
When I had codec problems playing movies I just went and found every codec I could from wherever I could find them and installed them ALL whether I needed them or not.
Problems vanished. -
Try opening in Virtual Dub - the file info should tell you what compression has been used and thus which codec you need to watch it.. Beware though, some files i'm convinced are fake... one of the recording industries latest stunts to prevent copyright theft
