Where do you want to add it ?

Simplest way that will work in most cases - create a jpeg at the correct resolution (720 x 540 for NTSC, 768 x 576 for PAL - these are square pixel sizes and will adjust themselves for TV viewing). Rip your DVD to your HDD, open it in DVD shrink, and find the title that is the studio logo or FBI warning - note : not all discs have this a seperate title, but many do. In the compression settings for this title, change the compression type to Still Image and select your Jpeg. Backup the DVD, and when this title plays it will be your jpeg that comes up instead of the warning.

Otherwise you will have to look at something like IFOEdit or PGCEdit, and the associated guides, to see if there is an easy way to change the structure to include your logo.

If you wanted to get really fancy, imagine you could create a short video with your, say logo , making sure to fade to black & silence at the end. Demux movie m2v/ac3/subs etc., creating new version with your video tacked on at beginning. Create title set from new files, and use vob blanker or ifoedit to replace original.

More work, but if your goal is a moment of imortality, not as easy to remove.

Otherwise as posted can replace any short sections in DVD, separate intros to movie etc... Replacing transition video from menu to movie might work well.
