Hello everybody,
After browsing through forum, I came to realize that in order to replace or upgrade hard drive on Pioneer DVD recorders one need service disk and service remote or universal remote with Pioneer service remote codes. But, I didn't find procedure specifically for my model DVR-433H which has 80GB hard disk and with it's features looks very similar to models mentioned on this forum.
I'm wondering is it possible to replace hard drive in case original hard drive stop functioning just by putting in new hard drive. It doesn't have to be bigger than "original", just to be able to replace it without taking it to service center (there's none in my city), and of course, would it be possible to replace hard drive with bigger one and if possible, what would be procedure for it? Same as for other Pioneer models mentioned, or something else?
Thank you in advance for your kind replies.
