I watch some occasionally just for the heck of it. Though in general I avoid them like the plague.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

  2. I find them very annoying. I especially want to throw the remote at the TV when that worthless fraud Kevin Trudeau comes on peddling his latest scam.

I know, I am just busting your chops.
I can't believe how many times I sit through them meself.
I try to rationalize it away by thinking that it was the gal in the bikini that held my attention, when in reality it was the rotisserie chicken that I was craving

    That's too funny.

The sad part is that both the girl and the chicken are faked. Too much plastic and airbrushing on the girl, and that stupid chicken is burnt crispy on the outside and still raw on the inside - no joke - look how close to the edge of the chicken they cut that slice off of. You never see them cut right into the middle of the chicken.

Informercials are spawn of the devil because of how much they lie to you.

The Chicken i'll give you..... but DAYUM!!!!!!! most times it's airbrushing still photos!!! can you imagine how much work it would be airbrushing the chick while leaving the fake chicken untouched in a video!!!!!!! Frame by frame!!!

I used the term airbrushing loosely. In most cases it's overusing makeup or using a blur spot on a video kind of like a censor circle/bar would be used to blur out spider veins or blemishes.

But really, have you guys ever looked at the faces of some of these chics? I mean, with their clothes on, I'm surprised some of them would even get picked up in a bar. But as it stands, some of you (squirreldip ) will probably say "they have faces?"

And spraypaint hair...... oooh, that's sexy!

I'm indifferent to them. I don't find them any more annoying than any other form of advertising. Some I find annoying but others...
I'm probably warped, but I got a kick out of watching "Greg Brady" pitching 70s music CDs. (Although he didn't convince me to order a set) :P
