I am considering getting one of these systems in either the spring or summer of 2006. If you own one of these home cinema systems, please let me know if one of the following procedures work for you.

    Procedure A
    1. Turn on the system.
    2. Open the tray either by pressing the open/close button on the DVD receiver itself or by holding the stop button on the remote for a few seconds.
    3. On the remote, press 99990. Do you get any region message(s) on the TV screen or the front pannel display?
    4. On the remote, press ENTER or OK. The tray will close.
    Or Procedure B
    1/ Power ON
    2/ Press PLAY
    3/ 2 7 4
    4/ 222222005255
    5/ Play

    Thank you.

I'm glad to hear it! For your information, the DV-XC700 and the DVX-C300 come with the DVR-C300 DVD receiver. The only difference is the DVX-C700 has better speakers. So if you still have a chance to return it, I'd set it back to Region 1 (99991) and dig out the extra cash if you are interested.

    Best regards,

    Big C
