I realize it's early, but the thought came to mind tonight to be thankful. Who knows I could be gone tomorrow, and some poor soul would be left to sort out all this equipment and find it a new home (I pitty the guy that sees all these cables). No, I just wanted to say thanks to all who take the patience, dedication and time to help so many folks out around the globe. No matter were you live, we all share the same common interest. The knowledge I have gained through this site could not be expressed in any monetary terms, but in the ability to produce something meaningful and heartfelt as when my sister passed away this past June at the age of 46. To try and put someone's life into a 6 minute slide show over a period of 30 editing hours, could only have been accomplished by visiting this site on a daily basis. I am no where near as knowledgable as so many on the site, and will never be, but I try to help those that I can and leave the rest to you folks that have earned your wings through many hours of seat and mouse time. So.... thanks.... for this past year! And Merry Christmas!

A very wonderful sentiment and so eloquently spoken. I, too, am thankful for this past year at vh, for the patience of so many of it's members during my learning curve, and for the bountifull entertainment it's provided. Thank you. To those I've offended, I apologize. And to those I've helped, you're welcome. Here's to a wonderfull New Year!

Early yes, but not THAT early. I mean for me its just 2 hours away. Yet I still have to work my over night shift both tonight AND tomorrow night.

    Either way Merry Christmas everyone.

I don't "get gifts" any longer but this year I decided to give myself one.
