    Anyone who can help me with making the DTH8043E region free?
    I guess it would be the same as for DTH8045E, and maby DTH8040E.

    Do you have the hack for the 8045E? You mention it in your first posting.
    I guess you tried the hack posted on this site. Did it work? When you change from DVD's of one region to DVD's of another, do you have to tell the machine what the new region is each time? My old thomson machine is like that.
