Ok, so there is a link on the main page for this Sanzzi III thing...I look at it, and it does not seem different then the DVC II, except, a small part about doing audio in hardware as well.
Is this a device with the new SM(or sf, whatever) chip?
Why have I not heard of this before?
(or did I just miss it).
Does anyone know anything about this device?
(other than the marketing crap on the website).

Ok, that helps...
(the link says it is a hardware audio and video).
Now, does anyone know;
1 - How much this things will cost?
2 - When it will be available?

Since most DVD players can play 44.1KHz audio, I would assume that most DVD players will play a DVD-R with 44.1KHz audio? Has anybody tried? Hardware makes are laging behind when it comes to 48KHz audio. I assume someone will soon make a standalone simple little software that will take any mpeg file and convert the audio from 44.1 to 48KHz. Most encoders can do it, but it's a multistep process at the moment.
