Hi to you all!
i am a beginner in video capture.
i recently bought a pc:
1,8 GHZ pentium 4
256 MM SDRAM
80 gig HD
Geforce 3 TI 200 with Philips 7102 TV IN OUT MODUL
i hoped to get decent results with it, after reading alot at this homepage.
however using virtualdub
25 frames out of 125 are ALWAYS DROPPED!!
always. no matter how high the resulution is. i tried different hard-discs.. settings.. codecs.. always exaclty the same amount of dropped frames.
the cpu usage is between 5 and 20 percent.
so maybe any of you know what could be wrong..
maybe the tv in out modul is just too weak..
so i want to buy either a
DAZZLE DVC II or Hollywood DV Bridge
they cost the same..
i'd use it mainly to convert analog music videos (sometimes in not so good quality (bootlegs, amateur filmed)) to PC and then convert it to VCD, XVCD, SCVD in good quality.
i read that the hollywood dv bridge has problems with bad quality videos.. is this not the case with the DVC II.?
and what do you think is easier to use..
DV videos and then convert (hollywood DV bridge)
or MPEG 1 MPEG 2.
well i'd like to use a resolution of 720 x 576.
I'd be so glad with ANY help.
thanks,
Georgie
