Alright, I've never seen something like this, probably because I've never used this method before. My goal is to convert VHS to DVD, with an editing step in between. This is what I did:
1: Captured video using my liteon 5005 standalone dvd recorder.
2: "Ripped" the .vob files from the dvd-VR disk (drag + drop).
3: Used the following software to demux the streams so I can import it into premiere:
-VobEdit v0.6
-DVD2AVI
-DGindex
-Rejig
(not in that order)
I have 4 .vob files. Files 2, 3, and 4 are ok. However, my 1st .vob file has a video stream length that is shorter (by about 1 minute) than my audio stream length! Because of this, when I import the files into premiere to edit, the audio and video do not sync.
When I watch the .vob files before demuxing, the first 15 mins (the first .vob) plays fine.
Any ideas on what's going on, and how to fix this? I'm very confused....
Thanks for any help.

Thanks, VideoReDo seems to have done the trick, strangely enough. If I open the first .VOB in videoredo and save it as an mpg, the stream lengths are what they should be, and I can import it into premiere.
I just have no idea why none of the other software worked...!
EDIT: Argh! Although the stream lengths match, the audio and video don't sync! They're about 30 seconds off...but when I play the .mpg created by videoredo, everything looks and sounds fine.-Yar, matey!-
