I have a problem. My video_ts vob file produces an [[error: video_ts not referenced and should not be present.]] when trying to burn with nero. Is there a way to fix this?

We're gonna need MUCH MUCH more information than that interesting tidbit
What was your source ?
What did you encode with ?
What did you author with ?
What files are you trying to burn ?
What template are you trying to burn them with in Nero ?If in doubt, Google it. -

I'd say that your "remuxing" (aka authoring) with IFOEdit has made the VIDEO_TS.IFO/BUP to play VTS_01 on insert, thus making the VIDEO_TS.VOB (menu) redundant / not required.
I would suggest that if you were to take VIDEO_TS.IFO, VIDEO_TS.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO, VTS_01_0.BUP, and VTS_01_1.VOB -> VTS_01_n.VOB, then Nero won't give you this error. If in doubt, Google it. -

All Nero is telling you is that you have a file there that is not referenced and therefore not required. All it means is that the file won't ever get used. It shouldn't be a problem just sitting there though, despite the fact that you don't need it there. If in doubt, Google it. -
Yes, that's right Jim. Nero might complain about it, but there's nothing wrong with having it there. It'll play fine in the standalone.
