I'm not sure you can actually get the $40 in rebates offered. The $40 comes from two separate rebates, one from the Toast folks, and one from MacMall. Both require the original UPC code from the box. Since the box will have only one UPC, your out of luck trying to collect on both rebates.

  3. that's a good offer - I may purchase that! I've been looking into getting a program like that. It looks like it's better for photo slideshows than using iPhoto and iMovie. Anyone know if it is? do the pictures come out looking better in the finished project than they do with the other applications? Mine look OK - but i'd like them to look better on TV. Is Toast worth it if i'm using the applications that my iMac G5 already has?

Pictures tend to look bad on TV when formatting them to standard (S)VCD format because (S)VCD has a maximum resolution limit on pictures. If I recall correctly, the DVD format allows for a higher resolution, but its not perfect.

  5. The best photo resolution I have seen is using a product called photo to movie it has excellent sub-pixel rendering.
