  1. I know CCE is probably the best Mpeg2 encoder but I heard it doesn't do mpeg1 quite as well as others.

    The reason I ask is because I need to encode a Mpeg1 using constant quality. I see how you can do this with mpeg2 but not mpeg1 in CCE.

    TMPGEnc is free for mpeg1, that makes it pretty good in my book.
