  1. Hello. I am a professional performer and had a production company filming my act. I received the dvd but can't see how I can save it to my hard drive in order to burn cd and send the video to potential agents. I would like to have a windows meda player file that I can burn onto cd.
Can anyone help with this. I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thank you very much.

I'd use VOB2MPG or TMPGEnc DVD Author to convert the DVD to an MPEG-2 (presumably?) file.

    https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?guideid=638&howtoselect=3;6#638 might assist you also.

You can then convert this to any file type. By Windows Media Player file do you mean WMV, or just a format that WMP can play ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but why not just copy the dvd and send copy to who ever?

PS If this is a stupid idea then please ignore it.
