Hello. I am a professional performer and had a production company filming my act. I received the dvd but can't see how I can save it to my hard drive in order to burn cd and send the video to potential agents. I would like to have a windows meda player file that I can burn onto cd.
Can anyone help with this. I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you very much.

if it is a dvd-video(vob,ifo,bup files):
tmpgenc xpress and import the dvd and convert to wmv or

if it is anything else tell us...open the dvd with windows explorer check. -
I'd use VOB2MPG or TMPGEnc DVD Author to convert the DVD to an MPEG-2 (presumably?) file.
https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?guideid=638&howtoselect=3;6#638 might assist you also.
You can then convert this to any file type. By Windows Media Player file do you mean WMV, or just a format that WMP can play ?If in doubt, Google it. -
My goodness that was a quick reply!!! Thank you!
I have tried and downloaded the file, when i double click on the folder it tells me that it has failed to initialised properly???
I read I need .net framework. What is this? Could it be why It's not working.

If in doubt, Google it.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but why not just copy the dvd and send copy to who ever?
