I've got a Sony DV cam and I'm capturing and editing via Pinnacle Studio 7. I'm trying find the easiest route to get a viable file for Roxio VideoPack5 usage to burn a DVD on my Pioneer DVR A03.
90% of my videos are DV8 to DVD and I'm searching for the shortest and best route with Pinnacle Studio7 to VideoPack5 with what I have. What's the best format to make the edited movie from in Pinnacle Studio7? MPEG2? Is there anyway to keep the movie as one long movie instead of breaking it up in VideoPack5 for chapters?
10% of my videos are from analog and need some cleanup via TMPGenc or VirtualDub. When I make an MPEG2 in TMPGenc and make the DVD from it in VideoPack5, the audio gets out of sync at the end of the movie. When I try to make an .AVI with VirtualDub there doesn't seem to be any keyframes even with "Force Keyframes every 15 frames" on. As a matter of fact, with some settings I get an entire grey video using Indeo5.11. I don't know which options in Indeo5.11 are making the grey video. When I pull the nonkeyframed Indeo5.11 AVI into VideoPack, I can't edit it. When I try to view some frames at mid movie I get a "Corrupt file...." error.
That's a lot of issues, but if anyone has any direction or solution for any of them, I'd much appreciate it.
