I have two already recorded dvds that i need to put on one disc(they're not movies). What programme do i need to do this and how do i do it , i tried nero, but it didnt work, or am i being dumb. I take it you need to save one to the hard drive then the other and write it as one disc? Nero only saved parts of the different dvds ( 9 seconds of one and 13 of the other). Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, it will be a normal burned DVD disc that should play on most settop players.

In order to save the first disc to your harddrive, create a folder in MY DOCUMENTS (this is where "Shrink usually looks first) to save it in. Back in 'Shrink, after your first movie is loaded on the left, click on BACK UP; in that window, select as TARGET your "Harddrive." After doing that, find your folder to save it to, and then hit SAVE. FYI At the bottom of the BACK UP window, a little check box will appear saying you're making TS VIDEO files, etc. Leave that alone.
You initally save one movie to your harddrive, then you re-save it again with the 2nd disc in the drive (to a new folder). With the 2nd disc in your drive, you open "Shrink again, have 'Shrink open/read it. Then after it's loaded on the left side of the window, open the first movie on your harddrive (either OPEN FILES on the toolbar, or find it on the right side of Shrink under DVD BROWSE tab. It will be re-read again by 'Shrink and appear on the left side too. Then you're ready to back up both again to a 2nd folder.
