    Hi all , im looking to build a online store for a friend, but i have never used ecommerce before, is there any sites out that offer as part of thier serivce? also i need it to support £ aswell as $? any help would be great

    use Paypal for eCommerce transactions. They accept Canadian Dollars, Euro, Pounds, U.S. Dollars, Yens, and Australian Dollars.

    Ive used oscommerce before for a storefront. Works well and it's free.

    That can be installed on any site with php and MySql. I know it works with different currencies, pretty sure with different ones simultaneously, you'll have to look.

    I host my sites thru www.aplus.net Don't have any complaints yet. They have a ecommerce package starting at about $20 per month plus your merchant account fees from the bank.

    They use ASP code and you can use Access, SQL or mySQL. It is free and has the options to upgrade with power packs.
