I'm a newbie & I bought this R4 player about 18 months ago now and now need to make it multi-region if possible. The player was marketed in Australia by TEAC so I thought it might be very similar to one of the TEAC players. I've tried a few TEAC hacks but no result.

I had a look inside the case to see if I could identify it and discovered a sticker on a heatsink with
Yhi
:model 034-04030-FT
Made in China

On the board were SK 07VD and 94V-0.

Had a look at Ya Hsin's web site & noticed that they market (or marketed) some DVD players E201/E202/E203/E204.

If anyone has cracks for these, I'll try them too.
