Recently, the Recording Industry Association of Singapore (RIAS) has spearheaded the investigation of 33 P2P file-sharers. These aren't lawsuit threats, they're criminal investigations. If arrested and later convicted, each person could get sentenced up to five years in jail and fined the equivalent of just under $60,000.
