I am considering getting a hard drive and ripping my favorite 40 or so DVD's to it to play on a tv hooked up to the pc.

Is there a way to get the files to play just like a regular dvd with the menus and everything?

  2. Hi-

Yes, most software DVD players have that ability. If you have PowerDVD, for example, you hit "Open DVD on Hard Disc Drive" and browse to one of the IFOs. It's easy.

Not sure what that sentence means, Baldrick but manono suggestion worked fine with PowerDVD....actually I didn't even have to select any particular files....I just selected the folder with them and it ran it automatically!!

Thanks guys...that was just what I was looking for.

EDIT:...Oh, I get it now Baldrick...you moved me to another forum
Yeah, I didn't think that was the right one but I was not sure where to post it...sorry.
