I would appreciate someone to 'hold my hand' working through how to use
SubResync. The problem I have is as follows:-
I downloaded from DVB-T a transport video file and demuxed it okay using ProjectX, extracting the ac3 audio, the mpv video and the .sub subtitle track.
I edited the the audio and video files in Womble and produced a final
mpeg file. The subtitle track is now of course out of sync with the edited
picture. All I edited out were the commercials and top and tailed the program.
In the past I would do all of this in ProjectX and then the sub track would
be in sync but on this particulr program it was difficult to get the cuts in
the right placed with ProjectX.
Anyway! I would like to have an example step by step what I need to do to get this and future programs in sync.
The main problem I have is what does the green dot indicate and the red
arrows next to the times. Also what is the function of 'reset times'
and how do I correct the times. All pretty basic stuff I need to know.
Many thanks
